Snapshots of the Heart ~ Love

My oldest girly girl has a hot pink, glittery, fluffilicious party dress ...

This hot pink, glittery, fluffilicious party dress required some laundering recently.  I gently turned it inside out, the better to guard the glitteriness, and slipped it in the bag I use for washing delicates.  As I hung the dress out to dry, it sparkled in the lights of the laundry room.

And so did all the other laundry in the washing machine.

As I transfered the load to the dryer, Aaron's undies sparkled.  Brett's pj shirt sparkled.  My brown velour pants sparkled.  And the sparkling didn't end there.

There is a dusting of pinky-ness on the floor of the laundry room.  The top of the washer and dryer shimmer.  Even the lint trap is twinkly.

It's everywhere.

Let love persist like pink glitter.

"Grant, Lord, that my children may learn to live a life of love,
through the Spirit who dwells in them."
Galatians 5:25 and Ephesians 5:2
